State availability
Loan products in our network are subject to state law. Service is currently unavailable to residents of: New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts, Connecticut, District of Columbia, Vermont, Maryland, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, West Virginia, Arkansas, Arizona. State availability may change without notice.
Eligibility (typical)
Each lender has its own underwriting criteria. Most participating lenders look for:
- U.S. residency and age of majority for your state (18 or 19);
- A regular source of income;
- An active checking or savings account in your name;
- A valid email address and U.S. phone number.
Lender categories
Our network includes state-licensed lenders (subject to the consumer-credit laws of your state), tribal-sovereign lenders (operating under tribal law and federal preemption — may exceed state usury caps), and aggregators that re-route requests to multiple downstream lenders.
Truth in Lending Act
Federal law (15 U.S.C. § 1601 et seq.) requires lenders to disclose the APR, finance charge, total payments, payment schedule, and other key terms before you sign. Read that disclosure carefully.
Military Lending Act
10 U.S.C. § 987 caps the Military Annual Percentage Rate of consumer credit extended to active-duty service members and their dependents at 36%, inclusive of fees and charges as specified by the MLA.
Equal Credit Opportunity Act
Lenders may not discriminate based on race, color, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, age, or receipt of public assistance income (15 U.S.C. § 1691).
