Credit Authorization
Your authorization for lendinblue.com and lenders in our network to obtain consumer reports as part of your loan request.
What you authorize
By submitting a loan request on lendinblue.com, you authorize LendInBlue Finance LLC and the lenders and lending partners to whom we forward your request to:
- Obtain consumer reports about you from one or more consumer reporting agencies, including Experian, Equifax, TransUnion, Teletrack, DataX, Clarity Services, MicroBilt, FactorTrust, and similar agencies;
- Use those reports to evaluate your loan request, verify your identity, prevent fraud, and make a credit decision;
- Re-pull consumer reports periodically during the life of any loan you accept (for account-management purposes only).
Soft vs. hard inquiry
The initial routing of your request is generally a soft inquiry that does not affect your credit score. A lender that wants to extend an offer may, with your knowledge, conduct a hard inquiry as part of underwriting. Hard inquiries are visible to other creditors and may affect your score.
Adverse action notices
If a lender decides not to extend credit to you based in whole or part on a consumer report, federal law requires the lender to provide you with an adverse action notice explaining the reason and listing the consumer reporting agency used. You have the right to obtain a free copy of that report from the agency within 60 days.
Fair Credit Reporting Act
This authorization is provided under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (15 U.S.C. ยง 1681 et seq.). You have the right to dispute inaccurate information with the consumer reporting agency directly.
Withdrawal
You may withdraw this authorization at any time by emailing hello@lendinblue.com. Withdrawal does not affect any consumer report already obtained or any loan already issued. It also stops further forwarding of your request to lenders for the purpose of new credit inquiries.
